All the physical concepts encountered in the two first years after the Bachelor degree.
Course Objectives | |
The objectives of this course are to review the fundamental concepts in classical mechanics and to modelize physical phenomena during different movements of a solid such that inertia forces and resonant phenomena for critical oscillation frequencies.
Syllabus | |
- Dimensional équations - Concepts of error and uncertainty ; calculations of uncertainties - Fundamental laws in mechanics - Fundamental principal of dynamics in a non galilean referential - forces of inertia - Harmonic and non harmonic oscillators - Analogies in electricity - The use of complex impedances |
|
Practical work (TD or TP)
The course is illustrated by various examples of mechanical movements.
Acquired skills | |
After this course, the students should be able to modelize any movement of an object considering inertia forces and resonant phenomena in the case of oscillatory movements.
