Course Objectives
- Know :
*The weight of economy in societies today;
*International economic claches and their impact on local economies and on companies;
*the role of states in these claches (protectionism; strategic appropriation of companies; modification of market rules; scanning of economic actors, major political actors and populations);
*The weight of the AFNOR, EN, ISO standards in all applicable rules by an economic actor;

- Understand :
*Why an organization need (countries union, country, region, companies group, company) to anticipate and be proactive;
*The concept of economic and strategic intelligence (IES) and its application in a organization ;
*The steps and the sequencing of standards committees

- Know :
*Adopt best practices IES daily;
*Apply the IES principles, methods and tools to a standardization committee;
Syllabus
- The current economic context ;
- The states and the national companies development;
- States interventions for the benefit of their companies : examples ;
- The IES concept and its operational application;

- IES : three components
*Strategic monitoring and ad hoc information searches
+ Get informated : cognitives biaises and solutions to avoid them ;
+ Reaction, anticipation and proactivity ;
+ Strategic monitoring : method & tools;
+ Application keys for strategic monitoring in a company;
*Behavioral aspects of protecting sensitive information;
*Influence
+ Introduction to influence psychology (Milgram, Asch);
+ differents approaches to influence;

- Standardization committees
Practical work (TD or TP)
- Psycho-cognitive aspects of information processing: detecting anomalies in texts, photos;

- Watch :
*Definiiton of needs :
Identify the typical ecosystem of a 1A MM student; Identify the ecosystem of a small company ;
*Identification of information sources for monitoring the ecosystem of the chosen company ;
*Discovery of a monitoring tool : TIny RSS
*Strategic information protection :
Identification of failures in the layout of a company’s building;
Precautions to take to participate to a standards committee

- Influence :
*Identification of an attempt to use psychological bias ;
*List of influence moments during a standardization committee;
Acquired skills
At the end of this course, the student will have acquired the competences of IES that can be mobilized in a professional environment for the benefit of his company’s development, and that are necessary for the intervention in a standardization committee.
