Acquire the scientific and technological bases of the various conventional processes for shaping polymers and metals | |
Syllabus | |
Technology and use of different techniques for the shaping of metals and alloys: Solidification of alloys, Structural supercooling, Casting of ingots, Continuous casting, casting defaults Forming by hot plastic deformation: mechanical behavior of metals during hot deformation, Forging (free, stamping), extrusion, and rolling Cold forming: Rolling, Forging / extrusion, cold forming processes (bending, stamping, ...) Implementation of thermoplastics (extrusion, injection, calendering, thermoforming, ...) Implementation of thermosets and composites Finishing: assembly, gluing, welding Reactive extrusion |
