Course Objectives
Acquiring the basics of chemical kinetics: Determination of reaction orders for simple or complex (multiple) reactions.
Calculating chemical reactors.
Syllabus
Formal kinetics: Reaction velocity in homogeneous medium, experimental velocity law, determination of reaction orders, multiple reactions.
Introduction to chemical reactors.
Treatment of complex reactions, approximation of the stationary state, the decisive step, chain reactions.
Practical work (TD or TP)
Determination of reaction orders, calculation of reactors, reaction mechanisms.
