Course Objectives
Provide basic knowledge for the implementation of combinational and sequential logic circuits.
Syllabus
- Count and coding
- Combinatorial logic
- Binary operators
- Reduction of logic functions
- Decoders, demultiplexers, multiplexers, memories, accomplishments canonical
- Dynamic behavior of a logic circuit; hazards
- Technological aspects
- Latches, flip-flops, shift registers
- Analysis of asynchronous sequential circuits
- Analysis and synthesis of synchronous counters
- Petri net
- State machine
Practical work (TD or TP)
Perform simple and complex combinational and sequential circuits.
Acquired skills
Ability to analyze existing circuits. Ability to synthesize a logical system that meets specifications.
